I call RAM today to get some panel clips to have as spares ( tree fasteners ). He had the gall to tell me they are $10/each. "I would be embarrassed to tell a customer that", was my response to the parts guy.


So as far as I can tell the holes are 9.5 mm and the head is 23mm.
After some searching I found grey (mine) and black fasteners under this search on E-Bay:

They are $8.10 / 25


I ordered these and will repost upon arrival. I hope they are what they are described as and NO ONE on here has to ever buy them from RAM.

WOW! When I ordered them they were only $5 apiece! I laughed at them and told them to keep them!
I have not found a perfect substitute, hope you do!

The Xmas trees seem only good for one use and mediocre after that so the next time I'm doing 10-24 nutserts.

Negative on the clips I ordered. to big of stems and grey is more silver. I am nothing other the persistent and will find something other than the OEM clips. I will order till I do. Post when I find my next try

These worked for the interior cargo panels for me.. not an exact match to the factory fasteners, but they are much easier to remove later.

Have you tried NAPA? They have sample binders with hundreds of different clips and fasteners.
