It says 24v but never understood how that translates or doesn't translate to 12v. I'm looking for something that will turn on some computer fans in my electrical Cabinet if temp is below a certain temp (donut brings in warm
Air tomwarm
My batteries and then turns off when it gets to like 40degrees F and then kicks back on if the temp gets Too warm in there on a hot day.

Fans on if below a Certain temp. Fans also on if above a certain temp.
For example: fans on if below 40 degrees and dans on if above 80 degrees.

What you are looking for is a differential thermostat. When the temperature is within the specified range, the load (fan) is on, when it is outside the range the load (fan) is off. You then need to replace the load with a Normally Closed relay to control the fan. That way the actions of the thermostat will be reversed. Off when within the range, and On when outside the range.
