I'd like to make slots for L-track while reusing the floor. What's a good tool to do that? I planned on plunge router, but not sure how it will do with composite.

I just used a 5" battery powered skill saw set to the correct depth when I cut mine for the L track. I cut the curved ends out with a hole saw bit the same diameter as the slot.

I was thinking of using a jigsaw with a fine blade + drill for ends or a router. Friend has circular, so that will be an easy thing.

Jig saw blades are too long to use otherwise you’re good to go! It’s just a composite mix of plastic=tic and sawdust I think. It cuts very easy.
