Now that the paint is dry it's time to install the rack. Got everything back in its place and mounted my two REC 310 solar panels. This fit perfectly between my two Maxxair fans. The height of the panels will minimize shading from my open fans. I mounted my roof top cable gland and used the VHB tape and butyl tape to seal the edges and then slathered on the Dicor Gray Self-Leveler. I bolted each panel in the highest strength locations that REC recommend and also used Unistrut solar panel clips for extra security. I'm also considering adding a tether to the panels at the front and secure to my main rack frame. I mounted my roof lights and will finish the wiring next.

Here's a few more roof shots. We had a few days that I could do some exterior work in between snow and ice. I finalized my roof lightbar electrical connections and routed all my wiring. I also tapped into the rear camera housing to run my coax for our Weboost, Awning LED light and our dashcam rear camera. We also tackled making our window covers. It saved money but it was more work than we imagined. Sewing around the magnets will make you go crazy. The covers are almost done but will finish this week. The temps were above freezing today and was able to install and wire up our "Rock" lights. These cheap little LEDs will provide some light underneath to inspect or check for critters.
