Not sure what to call it actually.

On my express there was a plastic floor cover between the end of the mat and the end of the floor by the door. All the ones I've seen on the Promaster version stop in front of the latch.

Problem is, dragging my ladders in and out is scratching the paint, has anyone seen a protector that goes to the edge? Also need to do something on the doors as they are getting scratched up with things banging into it as the plastic cover doesn't go low enough.

I've noticed the same. Paint scratches easier than it should.

I was thinking about spraying bed liner there. I always sprayed the exposed edge on my truck beds too. Bed liners don't completly protect area at tailgate.

The other area I was thinking about clear stick on sheets chip guard

I sprayed the exposed cargo floor area in My van with bed liner paint from Home Depot. Not to protect the floor, but to provide some traction for me.

I was reading in another thread about someone using Monstaliner, thinking of using that there and coat the wheel wells with the extra (friend of mine had theirs rhino lined and said it worked pretty good) good ol Ohio and salt.
