Just curious.

When we were shopping in September 2014, some vans had a cab floor so slick that we were afraid we'd fall down. The others, including the one we bought which was already a year old, had a squishy floor.

Was this a design change?

What are the floors like now?

I factory ordered my 2016 window van in Sept, and have had it since December. The cab floor remains very squishy....seems odd. But a simple carpet square between the two seats help dampen that sensation, and gives me a convenient place to wipe feet when going from cab to cargo area.

My 2015 2500 has the squishy floor. I purchased on-line a fitted single-piece carpet mat to cover all the front and between the seats. The principal reason was to prevent dirt and sand from falling into the crack around the access over the fuel tank and the battery compartment lid under the driver's feet. I love it as I just vacuum for cleaning. For real serious soil it can be removed and scrubbed with soap and water and left in the sun to dry.
