A few years back, I noticed some “City Workers” testing the sewers out near my house in my subdivision. So I asked what was up & they said storm / sewer “cross connect”.

I wanted to add a convenient “on/off” switch to my Victron Orion DC to DC charger. The small green plug with a jumper wire is for a remote switch. It is a Phoenix Type 2-Pole Connector. Here are two items you can use to easily wire in a switch.

Because of the heater location, it is helpful if it directed hot air away from the bed. The factory grill directs the air down from the grill, but this isn't good for the dog kennel or the seat where the toilet is located. I even reversed the grill so it directed hot air upward, but that wasn't ideal either. So I purchased a different heater grill and turned it so it directs the air to the right (down the isle toward the front of the van) and I was very pleased with the result.

Thank you! When I slept on the bed with my head toward the passenger side, it would blow hot air toward my face. This new direction solves the issue.
The winter season is a good time to test out techniques for keeping warm! There is a big benefit from hanging a blanket over the rear doors to help the cold drafts from getting to the bed area and hanging a blanket behind the front seats to isolate the cold from the cab area. I've seen a wide range of techniques to do the "hanging". I tried "blanket clips", but I wasn't pleased with their look and function. In an earlier van project I did with Sportsmobile, they used snaps for interior curtains and I'm impressed with the advantages of snaps. Here is the snaps kit I purchased and photos of the install.

I feel that the Explorist Life channel has good content for van builders. This video about their plumbing and water system is well done, but it has so many connections and took them a lot of hours to install. It helped confirm why I like to build things with simplicity. My plumbing/water system has two connections: one inside the tank where the pump is located and the other at the faucet. I lost count at the number of connections that Explorist Life created. Every connection has the potential for failure and plumbing leaks are likely in a van build.

I don't know how you watch videos, on your phone, computer etc. This extension has made videos bearable for me. I simply do not have the patience to watch slow talking video hosts trying to stretch the length of their videos to qualify for monetization. No offence intended to OP.
This extension allows me to reap some of the good info from videos without going crazy.
