Me, too. It's also the first time I've heard the term "dinghy" applied to vehicles towed behind RVs. As a sailor, I can appreciate that. I'll add that to "shore power", etc. I don't remember ever seeing an RV towing a big van of any kind. How could enough people be towing PM's to possibly warrant BlueOx making a special PM base plate? It must fit other makes/models, too.

I've learned that there is no limit to the excess and the stupidity of what people think is acceptable. I once saw a full size bus platform RV with a MegaCab Ram 2500 being flat towed behind it, and the truck had a 30 foot fifth wheel hooked up to it. I can't believe he was getting more than 3 or 4 mpg with that setup, and it was highly illegal.

There are legal limits for overall length that vary from state to state. Max is usually around 65’ but some states go up to 100’ and allow triple towing. I could see it with a 136 or less maybe, but I thought the whole point of a campervan was to avoid towing a dinghy (much more elegant than a toad).
