There is a number of round & octagonal holes punched in frame & sides of interior but can't access back side to install a bolt. Has anyone found blind nuts or hardware that can install a nut from the front?

I have tried some blind nuts that crimp into a hole but the metal isn't thick enough to get a good compression crimp and pull out too easily.
there is number of these holes that I would guess are for attaching things to body or frame.
anyone have solution ??

Many here have used Rivnuts and Plusnuts both work. I drilled for some rivnuts and was happy with the pullout strength.

I have used insert nuts successfully in a number of the larger holes.

Insert the nut into a small piece of ply that will generously span the hole but small enough that it can be gotten through the hole.

Put double stick tape on the front side of the ply and position it in the hole. Put a bolt through a piece of scrap large enough to span the outside of the hole, then into the nut. Tighten carefully but firmly to set the adhesive.
