I see that Roadtrek offers a 30 X 70 twin bed option to put on the two front seats of their Zion (ProMaster).

Has anyone purchased one of these from Roadtrek or has anyone built one of these for their ProMaster?

We are interested in either purchasing one or getting plans to have one built.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Cheers,

I've seen pictures of a product sold for big rig truckers. Not sure it was on this forum... perhaps a google search would get some results... I'll see if I can find the info I saw but it was a while ago.

Plan B: make a plywood fitted piece that fold for storage and spans the seats with a cushion attached. ? Keep us informed if you find one.. I'll look too!

Thank you ProEddie
I've seen that link - ...but I had not see the Tri-fold foam bed sold on Amazon.
I just ordered it and will see about getting someone to build a folding plywood support to go across the seats.
Beats ordering it from Roadtrek. I think their version was several hundred $$$.
So, Thank you!

This is a super old thread and this is my first time posting. I too wanted a "bed" for the front seats of my 2017 Promaster 2500. My solution: a 5 foot folding table and a 3 inch thick piece of foam cut to the same size. I did buy couch cushion covers for the foam and the table, as well. It works well and is a quick solution for around $100.

@Lolaeliz purchased a bed for the front seats. Perhaps she can repost her photo here.

MBJay, cool idea! I will need something like this when my daughter travels with me. What keeps the bunk from tipping towards the dashboard area when you put weight on it?
Its a pretty snug fit that can be adjusted by sliding the front seats forward.I supposed for added security one could buy an inflatable foot stool or ottoman for support.

Mine is really solid and works great. But it's definitely for a small person, both because of size and because the steering wheel is in the way. I need to make window screens because without them in the summer this will not be comfortable.

There's a very fancy one by luna for like $400. I don't think all the blowup support parts it comes with are necessary.

This is my Lady's sleeping area @ 5'6" able to fully stretch , bed sits high enough to be above arm rest and level with dash, leaving room to move around.
Luna Brand , no complaints yet 🙂

Couple of minutes to inflate, same to deflate ( small included compressor also helps deflates the bed ) maybe a little longer if you want to put back into the carry bag .
