My batteries arrive last week. I took them out to inspect and found one with a cracked cover. They are sending out a new one, but have not told me what to do with the cracked one. Before I ask if they want me to send it back...is it salvageable?

Probably with black silicone trim adhesive from a tube. But why? I might use it around my house but not in my van. It’s worth $15 for a Core. 6 volt AGM?

That took quite a hit. Silicone isn't good with fuels or acids. A bit of "Right Stuff" sealant from Permatex could make it safer to ship back and prevent acid spills. But I wouldn't use it. Good for a core only!
