Went by one of my local dealers tonight to finally drive a PM. Was pretty impressed with the ride and drive, and the gas engine does seem to have pretty solid power. I'm likely holding out for the diesel, though, to drive both and see how it compares in pulling torque.
The fleet guy ran a quote for me to see what options are available, and cost, and the 3.0L wasn't available for order. So no sign yet of availability. He said that if it gets further into the summer at some point Chrysler will stop ordering 2014s and there will be a gap before 2015s start up for ordering. So if the diesel ordering doesn't happen soon, it may not make the 2014 model ordering cycle. Other dealers may be different, or have earlier access - has anyone else tried to spec a diesel van in their dealer's ordering system?
