Hello,
Below are some images of how we addressed those difficult to finish bits of the van.

Above the Cabin:
This is the only picture I could find of the 'in progress' above cabin door.

Above Cabin Complete: Door Closed

Above Cabin Complete: Door Open

Above the Slider:
We decided to try and utilize the void above the slider to hide the fly screen. By adding a hinged 'flap' (for want of a better word) we could also make it look a bit neater. You can see the screen rolled up in the void in the pictures below.

Here it is with the screens deployed.

Here is a picture of the section of trim where the rear floor meets the cabin.

We used a piece of PVC Quarter Round / Quadding(?) to tidy up the transition of the floor to the step behind the front seats. The PVC was heated in front of an electric bar heater until it was malleable (close to melting but not quite) then, quickly transferred to the van floor and held in place until it cooled. It was the easiest solution to another odd/unattractive section of the van.

Nice work. Did you make the screens or buy them?
Hi heaphy,
We purchased generic 'magic screens' and adapted them by sewing a combination of banding material and Velcro to suit the openings.

I know I'm late to your thread but you did a really nice job with that fabric on the weird angles above the door. Do you mind sharing the fabric and your adhesion method? Also on the foam blocks below the overhead cargo area, did you just stick on the white panels, seems like 3m VHB might be the trick.

johnsanchirico,
You might be late to the thread but, I'm later replying!
The fabric is a foam backed headliner, which is an automotive interior material. I used 3M 90 spray adhesive and patience to adhere it to the body. I found that working in small sections and not forcing the material to conform to the exact contour of the van (sort of a line of best fit) gave a more pleasing result.
I hope this helps
