The next phase is the water system. I'm using this 22 gallon over the wheel well tank with this submersible pump and this faucet. When you turn on the faucet it activates power to the pump. The photo below shows my simple tank mounting. It will be secure, but easy to remove for cleaning. View attachment 86651
I feel that the Explorist Life channel has good content for van builders. This video about their plumbing and water system is well done, but it has so many connections and took them a lot of hours to install. It helped confirm why I like to build things with simplicity. My plumbing/water system has two connections: one inside the tank where the pump is located and the other at the faucet. I lost count at the number of connections that Explorist Life created. Every connection has the potential for failure and plumbing leaks are likely in a van build.

On my new build I have wheel well tanks both sides & thus will need a cross over pipe. This pipe will be run inside “warm side” & under the bed area.

One of the nicest floors I have seen on here had a pex pipe under floor. I get the attraction, but I just can not bring myself to do it.
On my current van build I will be running a water line under the bed area also. It can be insulated well. I'm also using a non-pressurized water system that draws water to the kitchen with with a submersible pump activated at the faucet. Here is the faucet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T755QKF?

That is great @Dennis CampMaker 👍

A friend of mine has tried out & likes one of those submersible pumps & he likes it. The pressure seems a bit on the low side, but he is using a regular hose faucet. I emailed him the faucet you posted as I assume it would work well for his application. I assume just a water supply faucet (ie no hot & cold, just supply with a 12v switch to activate the pump).

Would like your report after you test it out.
