This wire package looks like a good solution.

Any objections to 12/2 Stranded MC Cable?

The wire is stranded, has black/white/green wires and comes in its own conduit. An unknown for me is the armored layer and how it might act when touching sheet metal of van. Should we be using a PVC sheath instead of metal?

For DC stuff get 12/2 speaker cable. I think monoprice is the brand I got. If you buy directly from them it is way cheaper. I used SO cable for my AC runs
