Because I actually listened to KOV, but won’t actually admit it 🙄, in our 2021 build I installed a “switch” to turn on/off the water pump.
In our 2018 build, to turn the water pump off, we would have to pull the fuse. No hard to do, but after thinking about a leak in the plumbing & the pump being always charging the plumbing lines, I figured it is pretty easy to have a switch.
So I choose the Blue Sea;

The wiring to this switch is pretty easy & has the option of the LED light coming on or being off when the circuit is closed. I chose to have the LED light on when the pump was on.
We still forget to turn the pump off after using the kitchen faucet occasionally 😳.
