    As for changing head lamps there would be no problem whatso ever. The guard doesn’t obstruct access to the head lights in any way. I am contemplating installing the factory Mopar fog lights, the only thing holding me back is that after the install a dealer has to program them. So that they will properly interface with the on-board computer.

    I just figured out my problem with the messages - I am to wordy and exceeded the size limit. So below is the rest of my answer.

    It was a definite challenge to install it, the one-page instructions supplied with it were vague at best. I contacted the dealer where I bought it and they put me in touch with the Ex-Guard design engineer. He emailed me a detailed set of install instructions, after getting them the installation was pretty straight forward. I’m 64 and have had three lower back surgeries so I had to take my time and come up with some of my own creative ways of doing things. But it all worked out in the end and I am well pleased. The mount supports bolt directly to the frame ends between them and the front bumper providing a is rock solid connection. I hope that I never have to find out, but I believe that a front-end collision will be very survivable and the resulting damage will be much less severe than it would be otherwise.

    Please excuse me if this message is a repeat. Also I must apologize for taking so long to reply. I have been having computer issues and just got things sorted out today and I'm now trying to catch up.

    It is not an intrusion at all it, is good to hear from you. When I joined the forum here I was surprised to see posts from you. We crossed paths years ago over on Hammock Forums and even had contemplated a meet up / bicycle ride in the Greenbrier Rail Trail. I had to back out due to my work schedule.
    I do still have the Ex-Guard installed, it is not cheap and is definitely not light. However definitely provides superior front end protection. Before getting buying I researched all the available options and in my mind the Ex-Guard stood out above the other options. They mainly manufacture their guards for semi-trucks thus they are heavy duty. The build quality and steel used are top notch. It is far beefier than anything else out there.

    I'd love to see pictures of your rig. Any chance you can show me a few? I saw your floor and walls and just was wondering what your layout was going end up being.
