End of Saga. Mostly.

The dealer is Kernersville Dodge in NC. Outside of the migraine level snafu, I stayed a customer and I’m hoping things will continue to pan out. Because....

I received my PM today and I absolutely love this van. I’ve never been so excited about a vehicle before. It drives like a dream so far. Drove it home in the pouring rain in Atlanta traffic and I was couldn’t have bee more comfortable.

I have one key. It arrived Wednesday so the van shipped today. The dealer said they would overnight the second key to me once it arrives, and pay to have it programmed at a dealer closer to me. Hopefully that all pans out uneventfully.

In the meantime I’m gonna start my build thread and enjoy this amazing van.
I’m also hoping the unaccounted for keys are eventually found and given to me.

Hi everyone, I just bought my first used Ram promaster 1500 hr 136. My van only came with one set of keys. Any thoughts on how to get a new set?

We purchased a second set (key and FOB) from our dealer and let them program them. Total cost was $135. Others have paid more. Once that is done the former keys if found will not start the van. Only the keys present at the time of programming work. You can get your key “cloned” but the above process is better.

The FOB is the part of the key where the electronics and buttons are. They are attached to the key which flips out like a switchblade.
