Well Ed, it does.
I have wanted to pill that dang clipboard for a while and have wondered how to get it out.
How does one slide out the radio just a bit?

arch...

It will slide out a little bit but you need the right tools to do it.

The tool(s) : google -> metra 86-3528 radio removal tool

This tool is much wider than the more generic ones I see in some auto stores. While I was wailing for mine to arrive, I bought a cheap set at Walmart and re bent them to form a wider U. That worked OK. The important part is that the two legs of the U are parallel and the same length.

They push into the small holes on each side of the radio, and release a small clip that allows the radio to slide in and out. You push them in about 1". You will feel a click when they catch, then you pull gently. If the radio doesn't move, you didn't catch the clip.

Hope it helps!
