Don't we all have the telescoping steering wheel? I wish it would rise higher.

Telescope length

Any idea how much it extends beyond the stock fixed position? I am considering/investigating the cost and feasibility of having one installed after the fact.

Turns out I do have a telescoping column. I test drove one that had it listed as an option on the window sticker and on mine it is listed under the standard equipment.

2014 Ram ProMaster brochure specs say telescoping steering column is standard across the entire model range.

Vinyl Seats

I had no interest when I bought, but now I wish I had vinyl seats. Probably hot, but maybe they will last. This cloth is terribly fragile and shows every speck of dust. I've already got several picks in it from where the cat snuck in when I was working.

Mine didn't come with fog lights. I drove it's first 12,000 miles without them. Ordered some from eBay for ~$120 and had dealer install them ($65, and they said it was easy) and can't believe I waited so long. What a difference.

I did not order vinyl but FCA included it at no cost to me (dealer error?) and I am happy to have the vinyl. It looks good, feels fine on even warm and cold days and seems tough enough for a couple of hundred thousand miles. Time will tell.
