I don't know if I like the idea of committing to a shelf that I cannot change or remove. Once the wires are run across it, it's got to be there! Part of my overall design is that I can take it all apart if I need to, for whatever reason.

I, myself, am a rib man...

You guys are right, when the wiring is under that shelf it's a done deal.
If I need to haul something I'll use my pickup.
Speaking of, Slide-Master will only ship to a depot/terminal. So sometime this coming week I'll need to take the pickup truck and pick those up.
Funny, because Motion Window shipped to my local FedEx for an easy pickup. Maybe Motion Window needs to teach Slide-Master how to pack things.

mm,

Depending on the number of wires, you might consider putting connectors at each side of the shelf so you could "unplug" the shelf if you needed to remove the shelf even for temporary reasons.

OR, you're close to the back corner pillars. How about putting the wires from one side to the other across the roof at the back pillars. I got my 120V AC feed to the other side of the van back there.

Thanks Ed.
All things electric still evolving but congealing slowly so your thoughts
will be considered.
I like the idea of connectors in case we need removal. Let's see what the
house ruler thinks of the idea; you know women though (Uh oh, don't read that MsNomer!)

Eddie beat me to the connector idea. That's a good one.
