Silver was no extra charge although I think on a couple colors there is a premium price charge just not sure what colors those are (think I saw it on Rams build site)

I looked into this a bit too since it is so hard to find colors. You could do pretty much any sort of graphics you wanted which from an artists point of view, is really interesting.
I read somewhere you could "expect UP TO 5 years" from a body wrap...
I have a twenty year old van out in the driveway that shines like new...

I've read the vinyl wrap material should last 3-5 years, with 10 years maximum. But that depends on the quality of the material, skill of installer & conditions the wrap is exposed to. When it comes to the durability of computer images printed on body wrap additional factors come into play. Some fade badly. Some are a PITA to remove.

My current van is a 2004 model & the paint is essentially still perfect. This vehicle has never been in my garage & is subject to FL heat & humidity. Would never expect any vinyl sticker to last 10 years. Still have my '92 van & at 24 years old the original paint is still excellent, except where rocker panels & drip edge rusted.

Would not entertain the idea of changing a white PM to my favorite color with body wrap. Have considered artistic body wrap on white van. From what I've learned about body wrap it may be better, more cost effective, just to paint a PM.

When I couldn't find my van in a color other than white, I was a little disappointed, but after a scorching Eastern WA summer, temps on low 100's for three weeks, I am quite satisfied with white

My Sprinter was grey, it got hot.

I think Silver would be a nice choice, though my fav is sand

I totally agree, Ben. White was the only color I considered.

Yeah, its been a toasty one over here on the dry side of the state.

One of the reasons we custom ordered our PM was t o get something that was not white. Silver and Sandstone were top of the list. Ended up with silver and am pleased with it. Though I have seen a sandstone since and there was a wee bit of regret.

I'm always surprised there are NEVER any stocked in colors besides white. Ram has a pretty nice pallette yet dealers don't go near the colors. Any idea why? I sure see lots of black, charcoal Sprinters, so someone besides me must want anything but white…
