Task complete, Espar R2D2 is in. I don't really have much to add that hasn't already been said except for "Thanks". All the posts, tips and assistance found here makes all the work that much more doable.
The install went as expected for as much forethought and pre-planning as I put into things. I mounted the furnace door-side behind our bench seat in the fashion of Traipsing About. My initial plan was to mount it on the opposite side but my aux power box limited free drilling space. The pump is mounted just behind drivers door inside the frame rail sharing a nearby hand brake hanger. Fuel plumbing and pump wiring was pretty straight forward though in the end I wish I would have pre-primed the lines. I did the bulk of the install on Friday and saved the electrical for today. Wiring is where most of the questions and all of the spare parts live. Being as bought the basic kit I didn't have a lot bells, whistles and extra wires to deal with and I was able to get by with just matching wire for wire and plugging everything together into my 12v system. Three rounds of clicking pump and crossing fingers later and there is heat. In all I think I spent just shy of 7 hrs on the project though I've got a few more things to tidy up later...add 'em to the list. I'll post a few pics when I get a sec.
